5 Days Mount Muhabura & Karisimbi Hike takes you Volcano Hiking Safari along Mount Muhabura Volcano, Mount Karisimbi Volcano and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda.

Detailed Itinerary of the 5 Days Mount Muhabura & Karisimbi Hike

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Hotel

On arrival at the Kigali International Airport you are picked up by a driver who transfers to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Mount Muhabura Volcano Hike

Wake up have breakfast and go for briefing on the Do’s and Don’ts as you hike to the top of Mount Muhabura Volcano. After briefing, you transfer to the starting point to hike to the top of the Mountain Volcano and en-route your hike, watch the green vegetation terrain, birds and fauna species.

On reaching the top take numerous photos to keep for memories then later descend back to the starting point where you leave to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Mount Karisimbi Volcano Hike

Wake up early have breakfast and go for briefing on the code of conduct while hiking then later in groups with a ranger, hike to the top of Mount Karisimbi Volcano for 8 hours.

You ascend for 4 hours and descend for other 4 hours with en-route views of the green terrain vegetation, birds and wildlife. After the hike, proceed to the starting point where you leave from to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up have breakfast then transfer for briefing on the code of conduct around the Golden Monkeys then later in groups with a skilled park ranger, enter the forest to track the Golden Monkeys for 2-4 hours.

Follow them on various trails taking many photos to keep for memories. After Golden Monkey Tracking, go back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
