Detailed Itinerary For 7 Days Gorillas, Golden monkeys & Lake Bunyoni Safari

Day 1 of the 7 days Gorillas, Golden Monkeys & lake bunyonyi-City Tour

On arriving at the Entebbe International Airport, you are welcomed and transferred to enjoy a City Tour around Kampala. Dinner and Overnight. Cassia Lodge Buziga, Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park located South West of Uganda. Dinner and Overnight. Rushaga Gorilla Camp, Gorilla Mist Camp.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Rushaga Section Bwindi

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger penetrate the forest to track the Gorillas in the green forest vegetation for 3-5 hours. When you meet them, an hour is allowed in their presence taking photos. Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge, Haven Lodge Buhoma, Buhoma Community Rest Bandas.

Day 4: Second Gorilla trekking in Buhoma Section Bwindi

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a second Gorilla Trekking adventure in the Buhoma Sector known to have three Gorilla Family Groups. You transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Gorillas then in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger, enter the forest to track the Gorilla groups allocated for 3-5 hours and when you meet them only an hour allowed. Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge, Haven Lodge Buhoma.

Day 5: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park for Golden Monkeys

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on your transfer to Mgahinga National Park to track the Golden Monkeys in their natural forest vegetation habitat. You track these for 2-4 hours as you follow them as they jump for one tree branch to another along the different trails. Dinner and Overnight. Mount Gahinga Lodge, Kisoro Tourist Hotel.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Transfer for a period of 2-4 hours and when you reach here enjoy Canoeing in the boats, boat cruises to the different Islands. Dinner and Overnight. Bunyonyi Overland Resort.
