Day to Day Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Entebbe
Arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, meet and greet with our representative who will take you through immigration process, assist with your luggage collection and later hand you over to your driver guide to transfer to your accommodation. (Transfer time: 15 minutes), check in and have an overnight.
Day 2: Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have an early breakfast to drive off to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the drive is about 7 hours’ drive with beautiful views of the countryside. Upon arrival at your accommodation, check in and have lunch and later in the late afternoon, you will enjoy an evening game drive with a crater lake drive and sun set depending on the weather. Return to the lodge for an overnight.
Day 3: Predator Game drive and Boat trip
Wake up early for your breakfast and later transfer to the starting point for your half day predator game drive. This is the most rewarding game drive that one should not miss on any safari to Queen Elizabeth National park as it will reward you with beautiful sightings of the might king of the jungle, leopard and other animal species. Return to the lodge for lunch and later a enjoy a 2-hour shared boat trip on the Kazinga channel with beautiful views of the two Lakes Edward and George and also sightings of the many bird and animal species. Return to the lodge with wonderful memories.
Day 4: Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, with packed lunch, transfer to the starting point at 08h00 am to Kyambura Gorge for your half day chimpanzee tracking. Depending on where the chimpanzees spent the night before, you will return and drive off to Ishasha Sector, (driving time: approximately 3 hours), check in at your lodge and later enjoy a game drive in search of the tree climbing lions. You will return to the lodge in the evening for an overnight.
Day 5: Ishasha Sector – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
An early wake up to enjoy another game drive in search of the tree climbing lions with bush breakfast. Return to the lodge to freshen up and later drive off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. (driving time: approximately 2 hours). Check in and later visit the local community in Buhoma area.
Day 6: Gorilla tracking
After your breakfast, transfer to the starting point for your full day gorilla tracking in either Buhoma area or Ruhija. Depending on where these lovely creatures spent the night before, you will return to the lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation and enjoying the rest of the evening.
Day 7: Return to Entebbe
Have your morning breakfast to drive back to Entebbe. (driving time: approximately 8 hours), with packed lunch, you will arrive at the airport in the evening in time for your outbound flight.
