Detailed Itinerary of the 6 Days Primates Safari Tour
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi Forest
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you are picked up by company driver guide who transfers you towards the South West at Bwindi Forest National Park. You transfer for some hours enjoying en-route views of the terrain, birds and lunch at Agip Hotel Mbarara. After lunch proceed on your journey to Bwindi Forest National Park and when you reach here, check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge, Haven Lodge Buhoma.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Mountain Gorillas by a park ranger. After briefing you are distributed in groups of 8 then later penetrate the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking numerous photos for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, you return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge, Haven Lodge Buhoma.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage transfer to the thick forest of Kibale Forest National Park located a few kilometers off the busy Town of Fort Portal. En-route have beautiful views of the green terrain , baboons, birds as well as lunch. After a while driving you reach the park and check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code around the Chimpanzees in their natural forest vegetation habitat. After briefing you are transferred to the Kanyanchu Visitor’s Center where you leave from to penetrate the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours in the forest, and when you meet them, take numerous photos in an hour to keep for memories. After tracking the Chimpanzees proceed back to your lodge hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Primates’ Lodge Kibale, Chimpanzee View Guest House.
Day 5: Golden Monkey tracking in Mgahinga National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the stunning Mgahinga National Park located South West of Uganda. En-route enjoy beautiful views at the green terrain vegetation then later you reach Mgahinga National Park. On reaching here proceed to the forest to enjoy Golden Monkey Tracking within the forest as you watch the Golden Monkeys within the tree branches. You follow these along the various trails for 3- 5 hours as they jump from one tree to another. After tracking the Golden Monkeys, transfer to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 6: Gorilla trekking and Departure
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger penetrate the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours depending on their current location in the forest. Follow the trails and when you meet them only an hour is allowed in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories. After tracking the Gorillas, embark on your transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
