Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (5-7 Hours)

Detailed Itinerary of the 9 Days Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Wildlife park (5-7hrs)

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you Queen Elizabteh National Park via the Equator. Lunch is en-route in Mbarara then later proceed on your journey to the Park, Dinner and Overnight. Park View Lodge, Enganzi Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Wake up early have breakfast then go for the morning a morning game drive looking out for African Lion, herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, Antelopes etc. After the Game Drive, have lunch then enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you watch schools of Hippo and crocodiles. After the cruise, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Park View Lodge, Enganzi Lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive then Transfer to Bwindi

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park. En-route enjoy a Game Drive then proceed on your journey for 4-6 hours via the Ishasha sector. Have lunch en-route as well as views of the green vegetation terrain and Rwenzori Mountains in a distance. After a while arrive at Bwindi and check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi

Wake up very early in the morning then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger, enter the thick forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, proceed to Lake Bunyonyi where you check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Arcadia cottages, Bunyonyi Overland Resort.

Day 5: Transfer to Rwanda & City tour (7-9hrs)

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Rwanda traversing via the Katuna border. On reaching Kigali, have a city tour to the many Genocide memorials and National museums then after have lunch and proceed to Volcanoes National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Kivu

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Volcanoes National Park to track the Golden Monkeys in the green forest vegetation for 2-4 hours as they jump from one branch to another. After Golden Monkey Tracking have lunch then transfer to Lake kivu at the Beach, Dinner and Overnight. Lake Kivu Serena Hotel, Hotel paradise Marahide.

Day 7: Transfer to Goma DR Congo

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Goma Town in the Democratic Republic of Congo. On reaching here you enjoy a City Tour then proceed to Virunga National Park to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mikeeno lodge.
